Lab Facilities


The Kalueff laboratory occupies ~1200 sq. ft. of space within the Department of Pharmacology at the Tulane University Medical School, and ~400 sq. ft. of space within TUMC Vivarium. The lab facilities include zebrafish testing and holding rooms, mouse holding and testing rooms, C. elegans/PCR/cell culture room, and pharmacology laboratory.

The lab equipment includes nanodrop spectrophotometer, a PCR system, microcentrifuges, electrophoresis equipment, incubators, water baths, refrigerators, microscopes, and -80°C and -20°C freezers. The lab also has access to the equipment available within the Department of Pharmacology, including microplate reader, UVP imaging system, access to ultra- and super-speed centrifuges, and tissue culture facilities.
